I don't have the money or space to shop a boat, but there are lots of rentals about here. When I saw the "Fishin' Buddy" I was really happy. This was exactly what I was seeking for.
I was afraid that such an inexpensive product would underperform. I was not disappointed! The screen shows amazing detail, (on the 110) and when fish were marked, various times I got a bite!
I was afraid of going low cost on the 110. I like it! Soon after applying it twice this year so far, I could not picture fishing devoid of it!
I have applied the 120 model on eight to ten all day fishing trips so far and have been quite pleased with it. The setup and operation is uncomplicated adequate for anyone to figure out, but also has adequate diverse settings and ranges to make it useful just about anywhere. The unit runs on six AA batteries and I get about three 10 hour days one particular one set. Carry an additional set with you simply because when they die you only get about 1 minutes notice. I have been working with mine from a kayak trout fishing in Colorado and the portability is fantastic. The side finder is a terrific function and one particular that I obtain myself constantly utilizing but, the narrow view(all models are the exact same)is why it gets a 4 star rating as an alternative of 5.
